open

I am open with my other half but he's not open with me and I feel like a fool when I am open with him and he's not with me. What's more embarrasing is that we've been together for almost 2 years and he doesn't wanna be open and expressive with me. I asked him why and he said "because it's not me"... what should I do?! >_<

That's tough I guess he wants you to guess or something. Sorry but I don't think anyone here has advice. Maybe try a relationship consular. Is a sensitive subject because if you press you might push him away and if you withdraw to give him a taste of his own medicine the same thing may happen. I guess you could tell him you don't feel trusted if his okay making you feel that way. See how he reacts to that and maybe you will get a better more clear explanation. Worth a shot. But I wouldn't nag or press to hard.

Perhaps he was hurt before trying to open up to someone else, rejection and ridicule can really traumatize people who are "suffering" from being lovestruck. I'm afraid i cant provide a solution, but maybe you can get him out of his comfort zone by showing your own vulnerable side, tell him some intimate secret you are embarrased off, easing the pressure he maybe feeling. Also ask him about past relationships he has been in, find out if something went wrong at some point, and how it happened. Then again, some people are just really really shy about their innner selfs... I hope this can be of some help ^^ "
