Do women like overly shy guys?

I can tell you I find guys who are shy adorable but they have to really be extremely shy to get any sort of notice from me because I am way more outgoing.

Well I can say that one of my friends that I met at a convention, I noticed how shy he was, trying to ask one of my friends if he could take a picture of her. He was so nervous, it was too adorable! We eventually hung out the entire weekend at the con. And yeah, we've been friends since.

Good question, Jikoshy. I might have tried asking him out but the thought of me being 18 and him being 16 made me not even try. I don't know, I just found it inappropriate because of age of consent laws in California. I could have also thought lowly of myself at the time. He came over to my house one time and saw a picture of me when I was 14 and 100 lbs lighter and said how beautiful I was. Kind of made me back off cuz I the time, it felt as if I wasn't good enough. Idk, I've had (and have) really low self-esteem issues.

Be proud of who you are. From what little I know of yoy, and only going by your profile, you seem like a nice, honest person with a good heart. ...and I'm straightforward blunt, so that means something coming from me! :)

Shyness usually stems from a lack of confidence and that goes into so much more than just shyness in life. If you can't talk to people out of fear, how are you going to handle the really important things in life? Everyone has a certain amount of shyness , but when that defines you, there may be an even more important underlying issue.
