Tough question.. you could ask for normal ones, if you wanna be on the safe side.. Don't worry about it too much I'd say, if you feel uncomfortable thinking about it, then don't. But if you're interested then why not, just listen to Afomaru, because you don't know how much she's gonna put in there.

Well, if you are that type of person that likes trying new things, go ahead! If not, accept the "brownies" anyways and give them to your dog/cat/grandpa or something. Oh man, a grandpa high would be epic. xD

Unless you really love brownies, I would refuse them politely and thank them for their offer since you are just helping them out of altruism (I assume?)

Eat it, and enjoy. I do not smoke weed, but I've had a brownie once, and they give you, in my opinion, a much more relaxed high.

For all things you want to try, responsibly, and without harming anyone: You want to try something - try it. You're curious about the thing - try it. You have and had no interests at all in the thing, ever - do not try it. I really have no interests in drugs, but if even if you're curious about it you should try it. Why wouldn't you want to try it?

Paranoia is a bitch, just a forewaring. If you're prone to panic attacks, make sure you're with someone who can help calm you down and do it in a place you feel comfortable. I personally can't do it, shit gives me severe panic attacks that seem to last hours even if it's only minutes. Its fun how time really seems to slow down though, but my mind goes into over drive... Eat only a little and wait to see how you feel at first. It's like drinking for the first time, you don't down a bottle of jack, you ease it until you find what you like. Also, I'm assuming a decision has already been made since over a month ago, I just felt like adding on.
