Do guys like it when girls ask them out first?

@maria - Moving along good. Remember you said he was caught off guard and did not realize he was on your radar. Like Key said he probably has to digest that a little and evaluate his feelings now that he knows he has to, give him a little time. The fact he he made an effort to notice what you are doing with your style is a good sign. He is now looking at you closer. He indicated (likely subconsciously) he probably likes more feminine leaning styles. Maybe not the best word choice for a compliment but you have to consider he is new to dating too. Throw him a bone though, kick in a little something extra style wise to his tastes if you like and see if he starts to notice, it might not happen immediately. Don't be dramatic in changes or it might seem contrived. Always best to pick an article of clothing or accessory. ex. Those are cute earrings you are wearing today. That X really brings out your eyes wow... Guys like to know they have made good style choices too. Don't do it for the sake of doing it, use sparingly or it's cheapened to daily weather talk. There are ways to say you are attractive to someone without doing it directly. Don't sweat him for an answer too soon, but stay in his eye, passing smiles in the hall, etc...be casual about it. He actually said he liked my clothing choices (bc my girl friends were all like "oh so you dont like what she wore before?" So he said "actually i really like when girls wear casual clothes and vans (just how i do) but i dont think is feminine, she is wearing something feminine today and she looks good so why not say it?") And yeah you are right i should wait!

Doesn't really matter, Id say when someone asks out the other it makes them feel nice. Unless their stuck up. No girls ever asked me out before though so i could not tell you how it feels id imagine it would feel great though.
