I hate to say it, but Monty Oum, the animator of RWBY and the mind behind technology. The living human robot who works and powers down...Passed away yesterday at around 4 PM. Ten days prior he had a severe allergic reaction to medication during a simple medical procedure. This sent him into a coma for several days before losing the battle and passing away, surrounded by loved ones. You will be missed Monty.

That bad-ass one man crew will be missed. T'was truly a person to admire. His time came way too early. There's now a hell of a void for us creators to fill in without him around and bar to keep raising. Lets keep at it, folks.

i love the graphic arts and aspired to be just like him one day. i always looked up and admired his work. i hope to be just as great as such a wonderful man R.I.P
