I really hate the word "Otaku"

Because everyones free to express their opinions and stuff so they make random threads. Not much we can do about it

New people, dont bother looking in the past threads to see if its already been done. So they make a new one. Im lazy too cant blame them ;D

Well when there's no search function I wouldn't call them lazy or blame them for not wanting to rummage trough hundreds of pages. Nothing wrong with venting about people using a word they don't really understanding the meaning of. If you went to japan and kids there were proudly calling themselves 'retarded cunts', you might also be inclined to inform them of their mistake.
