What do you all think about this anime and how does it compare to Sword Art Online?

.hack//sign (The correct way to spell it ;] ) is love. SAO is nice, but .hack is the OG of the genre ;)

SAO isn't entirely bad content-wise but the way it's executed is poor. .hack//sign is more dramatic imo

Sorry about misspelling the name. The music of Yuki Kajiura really made this anime stand out, however the pacing was very slow. SAO had more action and a faster pacing of events, but it wasn't as deep as .hack//sign. Yuki Kajiura also composed the soundtrack for SAO, but .hack//sign had better vocalists for the songs in my opinion.
