Seriously, I need to be more active because it's rude of me for someone to say hi and me not responding. Short term memory is a minus as well.

Yea I know, guess I just want them to at least say that they're not interested in talking or something along those lines, that way I don't have to waste my time on waiting for some other response and just move on. Idk thats jyst me though

That would take effort and make them look even worse while they could just do nothing and leave you speculating.
