Crunchyroll is down!

Well Crunchyroll gets alot of their content from those that developed and I'm sure they had to pay them a certain amount to be allowed to show their shows on Crunchyroll, as for anime products have you seen how much they cost, it's too expensive

well anime is expensive to make. Crunchyroll pays a small one time licensing fee to the original creators, there's no royalties involved. What really counts to them is DVD/BD sales. Merchandise helps too but not nearly as much as those DVD/BD sales. Those numbers are usually what determines if a show gets a second season or not. Thats for the originals by the way, not the dubbed and localized versions.
