Why Does wearing short shorts make you a slut?

@amaimai YES!!! Those! They look so bad xD Its not the shorts that make you look easy(At least not all the time ;D) its just that the majority of the ones who wear them act that way. So gives all the other ones wearing them a bad name. SO we all just lump them in together and call them sluts. EDIT: Its always funny to see girls wearing those shorts to show off their butts when they dont have any ;D

From a man's perspective, I think we say that because of various reasons. 1) Based on past experience, it would seem more likely that women wearing short shorts would, upon getting to know her/hang out with her once, demonstrate some promiscuos qualities. 2) Television, media, culture has sexualized everything from clothing to eating a slice of pizza. Thus, men are basically "trained" to judge women based on appearance. Om top of that, to varying degrees, it's seen as cool to "bag a hoe" to use a term that demonstrates how we objectify women. In this case, the woman was "won" as easily as doing something as grocery shopping. 3) In some instances, women are looking for attention, just as men are. So, those of us with that knowledge aree already skeptical and thus more readily willing to say "Look at that slut!" Don't ask me, It's probably because its in our nature to judge by appearance at first meetings, And most ho's do where things incredibly skimpy. It also depends on how shorts, the shorts are. I mean I wear shorts a lot because of body heat, Even now in winter, But I have seen some that would pass off as underwear haha. I personally don't say such things or agree with that type of mindset, But many do. Just ignore them and where whatever you feel like is the moral of the story.

skimpy clothes were judged like that. That's why people judge. Just like if a person decided to wear a police uniform for random reason and someone came up asking for help and they would say. Just like im dressed like that doesn't mean im a cop. Same way as some girls who (may obviously not be sluts) but still wear clothes that are considered of that nature are judged like that. Something we came up with hard to change peoples opinions. It's stupid but we human are pretty damn stupid creatures a lot of times.
