Favorite SNES Game

Did you ever have a Snes back in the day, during the 16 bit war [the true console war], when it was Nintendo vs Sega. Did you have a favorite game that you probably still have and play to this day [and will probably make you shed a tear]? What was it and sure you can make a list. For me it would have to be 1st Donkey Kong Country game. I absolutely adore this game, when I went searching for games I had before [due to crap that happened back then, when my mother got rid of our games] one of the first games I bought again was DKC, and when I begin playing it, instant Nostalgia blast. Hell even my parents recognized the familiar intro theme. After that probably it was Kirby Super Star, Super Mario World, and then TMNT Turtles in Time also F-Zero. I did not mention the awesome games like Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Super Castlevania, Final Fantasy 3 (or 6), Megaman X, Yoshi's Island, Actraiser, or Secret of Mana, etc because although I might have had some of these other ones, I do not remember them fondly or play the crap out of them back then. Now that I have played most of them I can make a different list for my top 5 or 10 for Snes games, one for nostalgic purposes and the other for best games. So I'm curious what are your top favorite games one list for nostalgia and the other for the ones you revisited for best games.

super Mario brothers 3 , final fantasy 3 megaman X and my best favorite is Secret of Mana. Donkey Kong Country. really that generation of games was more fun then most of todays games.

My list is as follows: The Final Fantasy series, The Legend of Zelda A link to the Past (FAVORITE), Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct, ... I am forgetting some... I believe Starfox... ehh, I lost the list lol.

My older half-brother had the Super Nintendo, and we used to play Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 1. My favorite game just so happens to be Mega Man X1, and preferably X2. ^_^

Zelda link to the past and Earthbound are my two #1 favorites (yes it seems like a contradiction) need to think about the rest lol. But those two were my favorite and I revisit them every now and then.

This is truly hard, because I grew up on the SNES and still play SNES games (see my YouTube channel, sorry, shameless plug). FFVI is definitely up there, but so is Tetris Attack, Street Fighter II: Turbo, and Yoshi's Island just to name a few.
