Asking for advice on my story

Oh snap, this kinda reminds me of one of my mangas I'm working on. Blue hair, sword, I wonder if I could provide some help?

Originally, mine was about a prince on a suicide mission to save his kingdom from certain tyrannic doom, but lately I've been dying to try something different with his general persona. I wanted him to be valiant, courageous and misunderstood, but lately I think I see better different potential casting him as a concieted, self-centered perfectionist who learns the value of friendship, co-operation and helping others. Let the hero learn a lesson of his own in the process so to speak. I don't know why I'm trying it out, but I always want to add variety I haven't tried yet. Don't want my fans getting bored of the same story over and over again, so to speak.

Ah okay, I'm not so great with coming up with characters so I don't know if I could help to much with that. However, if you need to know a good way to subtly describe your characters throughout the story,I could help with that. I noticed that not much was said about the cast except for their names so I can't get a good mental image of them. How do you envision Eria, Sebastian, Lucy, and Axel?
