Meh what the hell..... any Yognau(gh)ts here??

ochibi
Please tell me I'm not the only one on this site. I need people to obsess with. PS: For those who don't know what that is, they are the fandom name for the Yogscast.

Yeah, definite Yognau(gh)t here. They're one of my main inspirations to continue running my YouTube channel (the others being Ryan Higa, Freddie Wong, and Lindsey Stirling). For a while now, I've had a major crush on Kim Richards (it's beginning to subside just recently thankfully, but it's still there, tormenting my subconscious by haunting my dreams), but I continue to keep up with their videos. The ones I watch the most (in no particular order) are Lewis, Simon, Hannah, Kim, Turps, Hat Films, Duncan, Sips, and Sjin, and to a lesser degree Martyn and Nilesy. My favorites are mainly Lewis, Simon, Sjin, Sips, Duncan, and Kim. Especially Kim. My brother introduced me to them back when Shadow Of Israphel was going strong and Duncan was originally only doing artwork. It's awesome to see that now they're a full-fledged YouTube business, Yogscast LLC. Interestingly enough, Polaris, the YouTube partner they do a lot of work with, is owned by Maker Studios which is the very same partnership that I was fortunate enough to be invited into and now a part of for almost a year. So though the chances are slim, I do have the potential to actually meet them as a YouTuber rather than as a Yognau(gh)t. Honestly though, I'm not so sure.

WHOA! Really?? That's amazing that you have even a slim chance. I'd give a lot for even a "chance". Some day I'll get to a con or something when they'll be there. Hopefully. I watch them all which really digs a chunk out of my day to keep up with them xD I've had dreams about them as well.. and like you said, ones that just torture. Although I did have a nightmare about Lewis and I woke up crying. It was terrible and still vivid.

I think you don't quite get what I meant by "torture". Let's just say that most of my Yogdreams (see what I did there") have something to do with Kim. Nothing naughty, just...well let's just say that there's very little I wouldn't give up just to ask Kim out. Seriously. I'm actually watching them right now as I'm typing this. Good stuff, and never fails to make me laugh. After a long day at work doing IT work, I come home, record a video for my YouTube channel, edit, then render, then spend the rest of the night watching the Yogscast (and sometimes other notable channels). Good times.

No, I know exactly what you mean.. I feel the same way about Lewis. So were you watching the live streams tonight?
theycallmetakeo
No. I work during the live streams. I wish I could though. I remember last years live streams. The Yogscast help proposed for a couple and it was touching. Lewis, huh? That's interesting. I think Simon don't get enough love. If I remember correctly, the only ones in the Yogscast who are single are Simon and Kim. I'm just sayin' though. How did you come across the Yogscast in the first place? During their WoW days they were practically unknown.
ochibi
I would date Simon in a heartbeat even though that contradicts my previous statement, but I'm sticking to it. I love that dwarf to death <3 I remember that proposal.. that was so sweet :) I came across them one day when my brother mentioned these people playing Minecraft on Youtube. He showed me one video and I was hooked ever since. This was about 3-4 years ago. I don't really remember my first video, but I remember marathoning their Tekkit series after my addiction kicked in.

And then there was the Jaffa factory...and the dirt factory...and Voltz...and The Bomb. Oh, dat bomb tho. And their original music. They're not perfect, but that's fine. I love the Yogs anyway. Some of their live action videos are just too cheesy, but make up for it in sheer hilarity. I mean, Assassin's Creed yo! I don't know why, but even if they like to typecast themselves (humorously), it just never gets old.
ochibi
That bomb was amazing XDDD I love when unscripted moments happen. It's just genuine humor and it's great. I love when they push games to their limits to the point where they glitch out in the most hilarious of ways (ie: every Trucking Tuesday video) The live action stuff is amazing. That Assassin's Creed skit had me on the floor. Not only with Lewis failing at reading French, but with the people in the background having NO idea what was going on LOL

The angry side of me tells me to be a dick here. But I will reject that reality and substitute my own only because I cared once.
