By normal I mean not weeaboo scum. He's captain of the football team, absolutely adorable, and I'm crippling awkward. How do I deal? It's not like talking to otaku guys where if everything goes south I can just ask if he's seen No. 6. So, I was wondering if any of you know how to deal with basic white boys. XD

well....do you want to date the captain of the football team? Just because he's "cute" doesn't mean he has sustainable qualities. So I guess, just talk to him. Jocks can end up being nice.

I suppose that all came out a bit off lol. Yes I know the guy. There arnt really "jocks" at my school. People are just people. So yeah he's a great guy and whatever. P.S. For future reference when girls say a guy is "cute" we usually mean personality as wall as looks.

Lol yeah they can be. But let me tell you as a man that hangs around the football players and popular people in general, its rare. You dunno how rare its is for that guy to actually care and not just care about sex. Be on your guard. I'll to try give the best advice, comsidering im pretty good friends with all groups of people, including the sportsy peoples :p

The point of this is not that he's on the football team. My question is how do i talk to people that don't know anything about Anime outside of Naruto?

Oh.. Ive had just one girlfriend for so long... I forgot how to talk to people Ahem, be yourself be prepared with something so there is no awkward gap of silence. Uh, text him a lot. Dont talk about yourself too much, also consider what he is interested in. That's all I got with the general taking

Do you have any interests in common? If you do then talk about those and maybe invite him to do something you both enjoy. If you don't then it's going to be pretty damn difficult...not impossible but I would just say be yourself hope for the best but don't expect much. If you just don't know maybe talk to him and ask him what he's interested in make it a conversation (probably avoid the anime subject)

Thank you. I know he like Doctor Who and Supernatural so that's cool. Now I have one more really stupid question. Would it be weird for me to just go and talk to him? Like I've tried to find an exuse to talk to him but I've got nothing.
