why not make a android app for the site. i know id love it since i'm not always at my computer, and i feel bad when i miss messages on here

I like the idea. Was wondering myself, but who is going to write the app? If not a community project it would probably be rather expensive

If Sephiroth has the will & knowledge to do so then it'd be awesome! :D Otherwise I don't think it's a good idea. If it's some random guy who knows C++ & java he could leave some hidden backdoors & get access to private data which would invade the privacy of the users here. I think that a responsive web design with some good cache mechanism should do the trick if the android app won't do.. also responsive web design will avoid the annoyance of having to work cross platform (If you decide to implement it for IOS as well).
