This is what I read from interweb on Secret to successful Japanese video game illustrators, manga artists, and others:
Copy the hell out of your favorite artist's works And observant to things around you.
If only I had a cyborg arm that could draw for me. Practicing is gonna take me a few years along w/ hand cramps, bumps, bruises and the like lol. Can you tell if someone is an artist just from looking at their hand?
@Neverland If you need some tutorials Draw a box has some great resources as well as proko and other books and youtube tutorials. Make sure it is focused on one fundamental at a time and from multiple resources so you get a richer slew of information
Thanks holmes. Yea, everytime I've tried to pick up drawing again, I concentrated on my weakness, which is to draw people. I think what works best for me is to just sit in public and draw strangers. I seem to be able to get the ratios and aspects of the unwittingly model much better than through a screen.

Life drawing is also Ideal. Draw whatever objects are around your house as well as studying your favorite artists
