The MaiOtaku Project

Okay to start things off, a chapter tells about a faction and the characters for an introduction, then sends them on a mission. Do this for every faction, then just so happenly they all meet in a melting pot of action because they all accidentally took the same mission. It displays how each faction views the other, like who is okay with who, who are rivals and who are straight up enemies.

Alright Summary time: Setting: Future/Fantasy-esque Virtual MMO With Multiple Factions vying for control over the world whilst employing adventurers to bolster their ranks in the battle angainst the gods that are determined to destroy all sentient life on earth due to their hubris. Main Plot: Battle against the Gods due to civilization advancing past the point of the need for Gods Sub Plot: Factions vying for dominance and control Races: Human, Elf, Beastman, Cyborg, Fallen Classes: Open class system using the pie chart can allow for many different characters and play styles Factions: (I think this still needs to be discussed) Uhhhhmmmm anything else I'm missing? Or are we almost ready to get into Character bios and affiliations?

Yeah, that's really good! I don't think anything is missing from what we've got so far. Now we need to move along and create factions.

Well There's obviously going to be the main factions of Purely for or against the gods. Those two will probably be the most mixed race wise out of all the factions. Uhm...other than that there'd probably be something along the lines of a Faction for each race, or at least most of the races...I could see the Fallens faction just being just the purely against the gods...kind of at a loss for what other factions would be necessary or interesting.

Wow wasn't expecting this much feedback. Have I created a Monster or a God.

At first the factions were each race, but when the gods became the enemy they had to band together. They still don't get along due to their past differences but try to put it aside for the greater good. Maybe there can be a faction that is on neither side, they are theives only working to what benefits them at the time

Haha..."The Grey Side" but yeah something along those lines would work. Though if we were also going to implement guilds, then that would pretty much fall under the thieves guild.

It'd be cool if this turned into a manga that got really popular, then it becomes a super popular anime! But first shouldn't we give this epicness a title?

Considering Log Horizon got away with being an anime mmo, I think we could do a similar thing to sao but better. And yeah the title is good to me!
