The MaiOtaku Project

Its I guess the same story as always but I am trying to figure out a way to keep it from being just another Gaming Apocalyptic story.

so ok we have 2 options we can keep it as people trapped in a game or what ever or we can have it to where its a world that has qualities of a game..for example its a real world where people can level up and fight monsters and collect item drops sort of like the manga "Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darou ka" that way its not like sao or another anime where they are stuck in a game

Well I seem to be the opposition in this here thread cause if you haven't noticed we have been mostly Deciding on the Game itself that's where our Focus seems to be the most. But I thought this was about Both Reality and the Game. I think we have been forgetting about something... So far we apparently have: -The Virtual World. - (starting character bios) - Plot ( not sure if its the game plot or the story plot) - Little bit of art. Thanks Mumbles! My Main question is about the how people are playing the game. Have we advanced to a point where all humans have Implants that can connect them to the interwebs and stuff. Prehaps its a next Generation of Gaming consoles that offer you a special VR headset and controller. Once this is defined I think it could clear up quite a few things.

Nah Naito keep contributing your idea help to move us forward. I am just being squeaky about the details is all I want us to succeed in making this project a reality. So I got to be kind of the bad guy to make sure we cover all our basis you know.

i just have a question if this is an manga about people going into a virtual world to fight gods why are they doing that exactly like whats the overall problem...sao was that they were trapped in a video game and if they died in the game they died in real life so why are these guys in the virtual world...sorry if i sound mean but im taking this seriously
