Music!

Anybody got any good suggestion for music to listen to while doing homework? I'm thinking stuff like vocaloid, nightcore or maybe music from games or animes?

To Tell you the Truth, the Music I like is Incubus, Green Day, Mars Volta, RHCP, 30 second to Mars, and More like that. So don't know if you like that.

Best music to study to for me is definitely stuff like Baths, Giraffage, XXYYXX, and just mellow electronic or trip hop. Post-rock like Maybeshewill is also another awesome way to go though when I want to feel awake and energized while working.

I study to classical music, movie soundtracks (hans zimmer makes life, in general, incredibly epic), and post-rock (Explosions in the Sky, The Album Leaf, This will destroy you, etc.).

Gren day and 30 seconds to mars are awesome, but not really homework-material xD Xueli's suggestions are more the style I'm looking for :D classical or soundtracks are good for studying, because they are often instrumental, and words would break my focus on the homework xD

I can hear words and still study, but eehhh, it can get kinda distracting if it's a song that I normally sing to. But yeah, slacker radio has like station suggestions for studying and they even have stations for movies and video game music. Spotify has playlists for various moods, including focus which has pretty good study playlists in it. Those are the main two music programs/sites I use

You're better than me Xueli. I just can't focus 100% when i hear words. especially if i like the song. I do listen to J-pop or J-rock while studying as well, but that's it.
