Favourite old JRPG

So, my favorite JRPG for PS1 was a game called grandia. can strongly recommend it! :D what was your guys' favorite JRPG for that generation? doesn't have to be PS1, can be any old JRPG that you happened to fall in love with ^^

Seiken Densetsu 3 for Snes. And not really super old but I loooove Atelier Iris 1-2 and Mana Khemia 1-2. The second one kinda sucked. Both are for ps2. But I just love everything about those games. The artwork, the gameplay, the character, good voices (both english AND japanese options), the story and side events and most of all, the music.

Gotta dmit, never heard about Densetsu or Mana Khemia, and only played Atelier Iris briefly, but i can see why you like them :D And i definately think the music in a game is important for the games quality! :D

Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger. I think they fall under old jrpg right? ; v;/

SNES : Breath of Fire, Lufia 1 & 2, FF5 and FF6... PS1 : Arc the Lad 2, Community Pom, Legend of Mana... I have too much favorites games. :(

I'm sorta versed in FFVIII but I never played it. I don't have much time or patience for rpgs these days. I do wanna try Chrono Trigger!

Aah, all these good old RPGs ^^ kinda makes me want to pick up breath of fire again, never got around to finishing it :D

I barely played any old jrpg and I feel a bit bad about it but I loved Legend of Dragoon on PS1. I played the psp version of Final Fantasy I too.
