NEED PS3 ADVICE

This is more of an economic thing. My PS3 broke down a month ago sold it as junk because it's beyond repairable. (already have a ps4 but I still have PS3 games at home that I want to play) When is the right time to buy a new one? As of now the price of the PS4 and PS3 in Japan are not far apart. I'm hoping the price of PS3 will go down by december(specially during New year sale) When do you think I should buy another?

eeeh. It's a shame that the price difference isn't far apart in Japan(?) Were you planning to buy new or something? Personally, where I am (since I don't live in Japan), if you buy second hand, it's way cheaper and sometimes half the price or less. idk . ;-; //probably not much help// I don't think there's a "right time" to buy one but if you really wanna play badly, I would say just get it. However, if you're able to wait, definitely hold out for the sale so you can save a few bucks. The difference in price might not be too huge in the end but again, entirely up to you.

I'm not really itching on playing anything. Too busy with anime. wwwwww And I'm afraid to buy a 2nd hand ps3 thinking it's so fragile :( this is the 3rd time a PS3 broke down on me. Is it possible that on december the price will increase instead of going down? D: It's not yet gonna go extinct asap right? :O As of the moment actually, ps3 price is increasing here.

ohgosh, I don't know then ;~; that seems so weird and complicated to me. &&wowza, I've never had anything break down on me that much. must've really sucked. It's a possibility if that's what's happening there. orz that kinda thing doesn't happen much in Canada.. they mostly just keep going down.. a lot of the gaming stores here have a lot of refurbished and second hand ps3 they're selling with warranties... so there's not really a shortage or a possible extinction anytime soon. sorry for not being very helpful orz

Although, I did score my vita with warranty for half the price of a brand new one. oh canada TAT IDK what's the deal with PS3, older PS3's are so expensive because they're crackable(can play pirated games) -_- man.. such a waste.. Please teleport a fat ps3 with warranty here in japan :((

they're always guaranteed for a year, I think ; v; / I actually bought my vita off someone second hand- probably one of the best investments I've ever made. Japan gets all the nice colours and editions though, I'm way envious~! teehee. that's how our national anthem goes. that's true, now that I think about it. u 3u but I don't tend to buy cracked things just so I can buy the actual game and support the makers. ; n; no hate for those who do like to use cracked though! will do, as soon as that type of technology is available to us. ahah~
