Dark Souls!

Yeah off to a good start aye!? Any Dark souls fans? I dont have gold or psn, but damn i love that game! Anyone hype for the three dlc for DS2? I know i cant wait to blaze through it... OR! DIE!! xD w/e Im going to love it. HYPE!!

i played all the souls games i personally liked demon souls best and dark souls 1 and 2 are equal. and ya i cant wait for the three dlc

Good choice kakashe, think I've always liked Demon's the most myself. Both Dark 1 and 2 are A+ though. The DLC for DS1 was insane, so I'm excited for DS2's DLC and hope it's just as tough. The main game itself, I found to be a lot easier than DS1...

@Jexy A good tip for Dark souls, Die a lot. x3 But i recommend for a nooby run to go for the flying dragon sword or drake sword. In Undead burg go to the undead merchant and buy a short bow and a lot of arrows.(meaning dont level up for a while.)After that go through undead burg as normal and kill away till you find your self on a bridge against the Tours demon. once you beat that boss you'll meet the drake if you go on ahead. He'll breath fire and may kill you in one hit. Run past him and hug the right wall, you will so find a set of stairs (kick down the ladder) that will work as a short cut for a farming spot and a good vantage point to hit the Drakes tail for its Sword. In Dark souls its common, if a boss has a tail it drops a weapon.(Big enemies too) So a big tip is stay on bosses rear, stick close to them. Cut their tail off and big damage. :D Never stop moving. And always roll. Blocking will help, but Rolling will allow you more spacing and safer opportunity to attack. Weapons for a starter; Uchigatana(dex weapon), Straight sword(quality build), Balder sword, Bastard sword(quality). I know i wrote quite a bit but its there to help~ :3

Yeah, the game case does kinda say "Prepare to DIE", so yeah... My first time, let's just say I wasn't prepared either. I preferred Demon's souls. Probably because that was the first one, and the first one of the series I ever played, thus me falling in love with it. lol. 1 and 2 were quite enjoyable for me as well. Beat Demon's Souls and 1, almost conquered 2, but I'm stuck and frustrated, so I'll get back to it later. I would ask for help, but I find it more rewarding if I figure it all out by myself. :) And yes, when in doubt: ROLL!

Dark souls is easy and to be honest i'm sick of it and all the hype surrounding it. It's basically a patience and slightly timing game but so many people take it to be a skill game, it really isn't. anyone can do it :) Before I came to terrorize the skype chat connected to this site I was part of a Demon's souls, Dark souls and now dark souls 2 group. we all agreed that it's basically an easy game and they keep getting easier as the numbers progress, with the series trying to get a bigger fanbase. to explain it in short words: Demon's souls= timing, gear use, unfair encounters. Dark souls= timing, all gear will get you through, unfair encounters if you decide to go for them Dark souls 2= timing, any gear will get you through but the bosses have been sped up. you will basically get tired from fighting them if your gear isn't strong enough and you don't want to just roll forward, attack, roll back, strafe right etc. Don't get me wrong, there's still a special place in my heart for the game, mainly the lore. But it's really not as amazing or hard as people let it on to be.

i just rescently got banned from online pretty much cause they said i keep quitting cause. the reason is is because of the terrible lag i get when i get invaded like the screen freezes and then they kill me and the screen stays the same but i can here them killing me over and over again and the phantoms like teleport and now they banned me from online unless i use some kind of item which is hard to get more of

Hahahahahahahahahahaahahahaha ha. just play offline, you're not missing anything, certainly not if you have bad internet. You don't need online play to progress.
