People these days...

taylorhime
People are cruel, and I don't think that fact will ever change. Seriously. Some people are just raised to be complete and utter incompetent assholes. It gets easier when you accept the fact that you will find that one handful, of just perfect people, that makes you feel glad that your alive. Stay strong! :)

True story: I'm at work and a customer comes in. They are screaming at me from the moment they make their order to the moment they pay. Condescending, rude to the point I think they are some troll from the internet. There are people out there that will, by themselves, make you lose faith in humanity. Like the last person said; it seems some people are raised to be assholes. But you will find people who genuinely try to make you feel good. It's always been like that.

Dial it back on the negative outlook people. If you get into that mindset then that's the only thing you'll see in other individuals.

Oreo and Jikoshy be funny ^^ Aww don't talk to me about kids these days...they weren't like the kids in my days...AND they had better sized chocolate bars in my day too. Now they're like half the size. WHAT'S WITH THAT?? I can sympathise zfox, I used to work in a customer call centre and the amount of people that swear at you down the phone... They just assume you're a robot. I'm pretty stubborn at the best of times, but when you're told you can't argue at anyone, PLUS the manangers don't care... I got threatened by one customer who said they were 'f***ing gonna find me and f***ing kill me' when I said I couldn't do something for her. The only thing I could do? Burst into tears after the phone call. And I was a hell of a lot older than you Kakazi :D But I always remember something that happened at the surgery where I worked years back, and what the practise manager said afterwards. Someone had come in and because I couldn't do something, they let rip right in front of everyone at me. I really wanted to despise her after she'd gone off for a 'talk' with the manager. When the manager came back, she told me that the woman had had some really bad news and was so upset, but she had no release for her emotions. I unfortunately was the one that tipped her over the edge. She told me 'People can be so cruel and it hurts. But, you have to remember that you have no idea what is going through their minds at that precise second/minute/day that they're having a go at you. Someone might have died, they might be waiting for results. Someone might have hurt them...' Her words stuck with me, and thats what I still think to this day when someone has a go at me...because then it stops me saying something back that I will later regret. ...And sometimes when they're really a**holes, you can just wish for them to get herpes or something ^^ (sorry, another text wall o.O I need to start giving one sentence comments...)

I have a pretty customer relations kind of job. It can get irritating, but really I don't let it bother me. Like I'll probably vent a bit, but just the negativity doesn't really stick on me and I'll probably end up forgetting.

As a professional Magician.... I deal with everyone... And yes most of them are jerks.... But thank God not all of them. Lately people have been nasty all because they couldn't figure out my tricks. Well no duh.. Of course you're not going to, they are magic tricks after all. But again not everyone is like that. Nice people still exist!
