Help! Armor out of EVA foam?

I'm doing a cosplay for Cecily Campbell from The Sacred Blacksmith. I've made the chest piece but I have no cue how to make the shoulder piece. I've hear you're supposed to use your foot/nee but that doesn't really help me much. Can I please get a better description? Thanks :)

Easiest way to go about making shoulder armor is to make a template (paper) of the piece you need to make, cut it out. If you have a heatgun what you want to do is heat up the eva foam then bend it into the shape you need it to be (since its heated it will be more malleable. Find a way to hold it in shape (most people use tape) and once it cools it should maintain the shape. Hope that helps

Yes, heat gun is going to be the best way to get it to bend and stay that way. If you are really ghetto, you can get minor bends out of EVA Foam using a hairdryer, provided that the foam is not too thick. Unfortunately, for the shape you are looking for, you will need a heat gun. You may have trouble making that shape using EVA Foam as it is really round.
