Research

I am making this thread for anybody who is really working on actual research if they feel the need or want to do so post things about it on here.

Any kind of research within any field, felt like I should bump it because it would make good timing. Just as long as we can somewhat maintain a sense of direction in the thread I am fine.

Well to generalize it views on how do you think we would be able to actually replace our own bodies with mechanical ones fully. That includes a full on brain transfer. Or just using technology to extend life in general. Its a passive interest of mine, not into it like you but for the most part gathering viewpoints and the logic behind creating those kind of aspects. Since from what I know the whole transfer process seems to be a major one among a few others.

I would be okay with just a long extension of the life span, it would be less morally ambiguous than fully swapping for a robot body. However, I'm definitely not against having my brain and nervous system hooked up to a computer or a cyborg

I'm more interested in an organic body with remote computer backup if something happens to it so another one can be prepared.
