:| Everyone judges, even if they don't dare to admit it. we all know that a person that can physically match an anime character will look (cool: boy / Sexy : girl). as to those people who try, but fail to match a characters physical appearance my thought would be ... nice try .. keep working on it. no.. i wouldn't specifically classify them or categorize them.. i would simply enjoy the show, most of all i'd be proud-for lack of a better word- of them because they ( tried ).... something that i don't dare to do, simply because i lack the courage. so for those cosplay peepz props to you all... keep doing what you luv and don't let others put you down.

I don't think people should really care what others think. I think cosplaying is about doing really what you want. Like if you want to make a cyber looking Alucard go for it. If one wants to be a modern looking Sakura that's pretty cool too. If someone wants to cosplay and they believe they are overweight and they are happy with themselves to do it anyways then they have all rights too. If others believe that being skinny mini and following the rules of having to make everything by scratch is fun or whatever they also have to right to cosplay like that as well.

I think anyone can cosplay. o3o I had a guy tell me that my cosplays probably sucked. .-. and he didn't even know what I looked like. We never met. He said all cosplays sucked. I asked if he had cosplays and he said no so. xD I was dealing with a noob. :'3 But weight, height, sex, and race shouldn't matter at all.

ofcourse theres nothing wrong with it xD good for them for putting them selves out there for the cameras even if they physically don't match the character that's like saying only pretty people should cosplay aswell :P

I'll admit that I stopped for a while when I upgraded from a 6-pack to a keg. I eventually stopped caring though. It's more fun doing it either way than not. I do tend to stick towards average build characters or ones with baggier clothes.
