To a lover, somewhere in this world: Words fail me quite often, And grace graces me not, But all of my shortcomings Are ignored or forgot. Your patience, it astounds me, I see you play to keep. And that is why I honour you And why my heart won't sleep. Sometimes all you can do Is stare and shake your head At the stupid thing I've done Or the foolish thing I've said, But you stay by my side When I test you the most, Making sure that I don't fall, So to you I make this toast; A love that spans an ocean, Our story overpowers me. You revived in me a hope That I'd forfeit entirely. From there you taught me things, Showed me that I'm a better man Than I'd taken the credit for; You took me by the hand. It's going to be a struggle, We both knew from the start, That waiting for each other Would be the hardest part. when you come around you get my knees a shaking they feel like a earthquake. When I see your face I get paralyze it feels like I was just struck by lightning. When I hug you my heart feels like a volcano eruption it's about to burst out of my chest. When you smile it's like the sun it can brighten the room. You're something beautiful it's not hard to see your beauty is endless like the sea. Your eyes are like stars they sparkle with ease. Just do one thing for me and stay this way please. You're lovely as you are you don't need to change.

Last night we talked... My love is entirely there as you know, but I'm no fool. I give not because I owe, but because it is what I feel is necessary, even of my heart. You say you're confused? You're confusion only hurts the one whom you claim to not want to hurt. Why do you let your past linger as you do? Why do you betray me? Sometimes I wonder what's next, but I still try despite all of this. We have only just begun our journey, but even so I can't help wonder. I will not be swayed by emotions, but by actions. My love is evident as such. I know despite the things discussed, I will not doubt your love. Your tears upon my shoulders,heart on your sleeve, burdens that I will carry, hopes that I will nurture, mottled past, undefined future, insecurities, all of these things am I here for you with and more. Our love will never be complete, but constantly forged and refined, lest life has another plan. Hmmm...
