Thoughts on having children one day?

@toe Don't even get me started on peoples parenting skills are these days. But you're right, there are a lot of children who deserve a chance. I'm not ready to be a parent yet, probably not for a long time. I have considered adoption a possibility though.

Oh god no neither am I. I still have so much I want to do before I even consider any of it.

I want kids, but yeah. After financially stable. Kids are expeeensive. Hahaha although at this rate, I probably won't be rolling comfortably until I'm in the 30s and then I get to listen to my mom lecture me on down syndrome babies. *sigh*

Shin your too young to be thinking about starting a family o_O; You need to be able to provide by yourself enough support to sustain a women and her baby. If you can't provide that yet then you shouldn't be thinking about that. O: Get a career dood.

@Stella I don't plan on having children till years from now anyway. Although age has nothing to do with it. I'm not ready to be a parent yet, I have a long way to go, and I know this.

@yudodat I'm sure if I had to, I would make do no matter my finances, but it wouldn't be an ideal since we're all kinda discussing ideal situations. And yes, babies are expensive. Diapers, equipment, clothes, arranging care, medical care. I'm not comparing in regards to your friends' experiences since everyone has different circumstances, but I doubt you'll ever hear someone say that babies are cheap.
