Gurls i Need Advice With Faces...

I know strange title...don't judge lol When a guy is texting and sends you a O_o or a xD when someone is posting and does a -_- What are your thoughts? Personally it has been seen as flamboyant, weird, and flat out rejected saying a man should never use faces when typing or texting. Dropping masculinity. I do it a lot just because when your typing or texting be it guy or girl. You can't see the other persons expression. And I feel that you should know what I feel or look like in different faces cause its closest thing you will get to an actual face2face conversation and well I think it helps lighten the mood ^+^ What are your opinions or thoughts on the matter? Yay or Nay on guys that do faces?

Depends on the situation, really. You have to consider if it is appropriate or not. I do make funny kaomoji when I say something that may be interpreted as offensive by my friend for that very reason. He's not good at reading the atmosphere, you see. So a funny kaomoji cues him to go "Oh, hahaha!" instead of "WTF is with you?! Geeze you're being a bitch!"

In all honesty, that's a trait of aspergers. Aspergers is nowhere near bad, just was giving a heads up as to possibly why he is like that. Obvious there are more prerequisites before being diagnosed with aspergers, And I don't know him, but yes. I'll shut up now bout that. As far as faces, I use it a lot while texting. I'm not sure why exactly, but I do.

@Jikokun Yeah. I'm pretty sure he is. And, that is okay. Because there are a lot of people in general that are Aspies, and a lot of them also love anime. I'm sure there are some on the site. :)

Who cares if you're a guy or girl using faces. I think it's pretty dumb to think of this as a masculine thing, hell the idea of masculinity and gender based things is pretty ridiculous as well, so do whatever you want to do. If people are going to tell you it's not a manly thing to do then who cares, if they're really that arrogant then that is their own problem.
