Advice on finding a girl that likes anime?

Thanks everyone for the advice, I appreciate it! Yes, Nana is one of my favorites, I would really like to cosplay someday from it. I admit I need to start checking out more anime forums and making friends, it just seems like most people don't really have that in mind, and when I've tried to like on Facebook, people have just told me they don't have the time or are too busy to make new friends. ~_~; One thing I've noticed reading around is it seems like people have an easier time finding those who like anime that are in college or came out of high school. I think that's great, but when I was still doing classes nobody really knew about anime other then those who looked for it, this was around the time I would spend like 30 dollars on a few episodes of anime on a VHS. :P (ugh I feel old now already lol). Anyway my point is I think I missed the boat on that and it's harder for me to seek out people now that I have a job that is difficult with weekends. Also to those that said I should finish making my profile or add my own pics, I have made a profile on this site I think half a year ago, but nobody was around my area, so I just made this one quick to get some feedback on fellow anime fans with this. thanks though. :)

Haha, yea, I can relate to the bald portion of your post, but anyways I would say this place is going to be your best chance of meeting someone interested in anime. Those of us who live in the middle of nowhere are going to be at a disadvantage when it comes to meeting someone with similar interests such as anime, I have only ever met one female in person who even knows what anime is so you'll probably be hard pressed to go out to a local area and find someone.

I know a couple of women who are into anime around my area mainly because I went to a convention close to my area which is in Georgia. I talked to a couple if people and found out they were from GA as well now It's my task to keep in touch with them. The other few I know come through gaming. I've traveled and met a couple of cool girls who like anime but I had to bring it up while playing against them (i play competitively). Besides those 2 factors It would be hard to find someone who likes anime. I have a friend who met a girl because he was wearing an anime shirt and the girl recognized it so they conversed haha.
