The underbelly of Japanese Society

I actually read a book that talks about such problems. Its called Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino. Its actually a Japanese book. She is a renowned author and I do believe that most of her books talk about faults in society, etc, but not directly. Everything is represented through a story.

Oh, and warning, that book is kinda messed up... Just an fyi. Also 466 pages for those that are scared off by such things. You can read it online if you don't want to buy it or get it from a library.
