Geek momment?

I'm at the supermarket checkout close to closing time. While being rung up, I ended up talking to this really cool dude who noticed I was wearing a Bleach t-shirt. We ending up talking about bleach, the arancarr arc, DBZ and eventually about how funimation/4kids/american cencorship is ruining anime. Walking out to my car I realize....I think I just had a geek moment! Care you share yours?

After you said:<i>"Walking out to my car I realize...."</i> I thought you were going to say something like: <i>"I was in love"</i> but that's my overactive imagination getting the best of me. I used to work at an ill-fated video store and had them all the time. I would pop on some "family safe" anime like <i>"Kiki's Delivery Service"</i> and a lot of geeky customers knew I was into it so we would geek out about anime while holding up long times on Saturdays. It was great!

I accidentally called a ass-hole of a guy a "BAKA!" He just stared at me very confused.<br><br> ------------------------------------ I once walked into my college classroom in full costume for a con. Worse yet, I was dressed as a cat girl in a room full of animator guys.

That's funny <b>Squirrel_in_my_coffee</b>. In my community college days, I used to see girls cosplay from time to time. Well, that's because a con was in town. I miss those days.

Geek moment? If they were only moments! I experience geek hours...... days......... how about a few normal moments??! (Did I just say that out loud?)

The most awesome geek moment I ever witnessed is when my father (a.k.a. Ridingcatbus) hugged a stuffed catbus (from My Neighbor Totoro)!

OMG, If you want a geek moment with me just bring up Modern Warfare I wont shut up, though one time while playing ddr some chick decided to join in; were playing and at the end we're both "again!" so we don't notice but people start watching because were singing along to speed over bethoven and dream a dream.
