What is Love?

Ahh..ok. It mostly started when I commented in a hentai discussion thread about if anyone knew any good pseudo-lolicon bro-sis type incest hentai like KissXSis. Just because I mentioned lolicon MainichiMaidcafe had to make an insulting comment to me. When he/she hadn't even been commenting on the thread before that. So I started a separate controversial thread about adolescent sexuality as bait just because I knew it would piss off MainichiMaidcafe. But I pushed too many buttons and pissed off one of the mods (I still don't know who) and they shadow banned me for awhile. (I just couldn't post).

hmm love... Ik tht love in reality isn't like anime its much more complicated. Which makes me very confused. But this is what i think what love is. Yes everyone wants to be loved. But by who? I can't understand this. We use the word "love" for everyone. Why do people love? What does love bring? I've always wondered tht. I asked my friends why they look for love. They all give meh tha same answer, "because i love him/her" I get that, but tht isn't love. Ik loving someone deeply is truly great. But it can also hurt people. Having their hearts broken. If i were to love someone I won't tel tht person i love him. because i'll be afraid that tht person won't stay by my side. Love isn't just a toy for those who think u can just fall in love then say u don't love them anymore. Love should be that one person who u know and he/she knows tht you won't ever depart. Its hardly rare seeing a couple thts been together forever.

My grandparents were together since they were 17. They were each other's first date, too... The last thing my grandfather said (when he had forgotten everyone and everything) was "I love you." to my grandmother. So now I see my pathetic failed relationships as God balancing out the luck they had. Since you know... That's so definitely not MY fault.

Many people are just in love with the romantic ideal of love. But reality is not like that. It's easy for me to love someone I get really close with but that's different to me than being in love with someone which is rare. Most people who fall in love with someone they don't know well are only seeing a certain romanticized aspect of that person and not usually for who they really are, because they want to be in love but really aren't. I've often had dreams about "Love at first site" but that's only come close to happening once in real life and I messed up my chance at the time to stay with that person and when I met them again a few years later, they were totally different so I didn't feel that way anymore. Still, she was the most beautiful girl I ever met.

Yeah, I never expect anyone to be interested in me anymore. When they do I expect them to get bored and lose interest if I can't flirt with them 24/7. I never often see or meet any girls that really interest me either anymore.

I believe that love is a thing, but considering how I've only had a genuine feeling of it once ( and that being just recently ), I feel it can be quite rare sadly.... To me, it can kinda be described as wanting to explore the world with each other, to want to make one another feel positive, and to help further develop one another by finding new things for each other that you both like. You know, kind of part of the whole, the perfect one is your other half kind of thing. But whether or not there is a "perfect one" is a debate waiting to happen, and I don't really think so.
