Visual Novel Game

hellcatwrest
I've been playing visual novels and I have to say Grisaia No Kajitsu is a must. It's quite new, has many routes and a really good story. One of my favorites is also Kara No Shoujo, you play as a detective and have to solve murders, although the game is really depressing. I'm not sure if your looking for non-h VNs but other good ones without any h-scenes are Umineko No Naku Koro Ni and its sequel Chiru. Really good story and fun characters, and a really large fanbase! I recently played 999 and it was great, you do puzzles and have to find your way off a ship. The story gets kind of.... convoluted, but it's still a fun ride.

I recently just decided to get into visual novels, I happen to enjoy them even though I just started. The part that got me hooked was the fact that even before I click for the next text to appear i'm already saying what my character is saying, so I'm hooked because simply I can get lost in them much like the romance anime I watch. I'm not so sure about MMO's I have a bad reputation of getting to into the MMO to the point where i start writing statistics on characters, figuring out the time frame for the end game. In a nutshell I have an addictive personality so I try and stay away from games with no ending like MMO's. So I'm going to take these suggestions anyway and look into these games as well.

If you want to play an amazing visual novel, download Brass Restoration. It's free! It's one of those games I wish I could forget and play for the first time again. Never before have I actually cried playing a visual novel. Not only that, some parts are so funny I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. I have to say, as far as story goes, I took more away from that game than most games I've played in my life.

I highly recommend Swan Song. Some other noteworthy VNs are Fate Stay/night, Katawa Shoujo, Yume Miru Kusuri, Higurashi no naku koro ni. I also really enjoyed Saya no Uta.
