BERSERK: movies vs. series

Who thinks the movies kind of stunk compared to the 25 episode 'series'. I loved the series, but I thought the animation and the movies overall were a disappointment? Comments, agree/disagree? **The manga is incredible, however :)

The manga obviously is the best hands down, but if you enjoy watching anime you definitely need to watch the 25 episode series. I always prefer subbed, but even the dubbed is amazing, love it. I don't highly recommend a lot, but I highly recommend haha :)

Have only watched the moives,but I do own voulme one of the manga and plan to buy to more.

I've had the manga collection for Berserk going on for a while, I try not to read the manga online. I barely missed when the creator was 'selling' one-of-a-kind art from the manga..it was probably 3 years ago, around 75$ I think, and I was short on cash, it still depresses me to this day :'( But I do recommend the series, it was a great prolonged flashback (for the manga readers), if you enjoy the manga, you won't regret it :)
