Ideal Romance?

Hello beautiful ladies and gents. After many unsuccessful relationships, I've thought long and hard about what may have been the root cause of my malady. The conclusion I've pin pointed is towards my neglect to share my secret obsession of Anime, or simply put, assuming my partner would immediately look down on ME having such a hobby. I've dated athletic girls, cute girls, nerdy girls, would-be princess girls, but not being able to relate what I now consider a core part of me-- well just doesn't seem right anymore. Pretty idiotic of me to realize after so many years right? So I've decided to attempt this and come out of my shell. It's very awkward for me right now so please bear with me because I essentially have no clue how to approach this. Sincerely, A philosopher with a paradoxical notion of an Ideal Romance.
