In my circle of friends we have a really attractive female friend of ours. Shes extremely picky though and wont date anyone who is not at least semi athletic and a really out going personality. Shes a pretty big gamer and otaku and most of the guys shes dated have been pretty big dicks to her and arent gamers at all. None of her most recent relationships have lasted more than six months and now she just started dating a friend of one of the gfs in our group and pretty much has zero in common with any of us. It makes for some awkward hang outs to say the least. Hes already expressed an obsession of getting in her pants and we can already see the end coming from a mile away but she refuses to see it until it slams her directly in the face. Of course ive had an off and on crush on her for years but shell never give me the time of day in that regard. Plenty of nice guys floating around who would treat her well and im not just talking about myself, but her shallowness pretty much continues to attract her only to guys who just want to date her for sex.

It's like I said, it will always be the same. That's why I don't feel sorry for men who caught std's and women who had their hearts broken by douche bags. It amazes me that people are willing to go far in that road. That's why I don't believe in love, because it is just a myth to me.

@ Cecil TBH it's ppl like your female friend and the guys that want to bang her is one of the reasons why I lose hope for humanity. But if not for Rinatanchu saying that she thinks guys who lacks confidence are cute, My distrust for females would still be present and my cynical view on humanity.

@Ace: You know... I'm going to be quite frank with you... And I'm sorry if this is a bitch thing of me to say. But completely based on how you're talking right now, I would never date you or a guy like you. Why? Because you seem chauvinistic, self absorbed, and just flat out rude... I see you've realized that yes, most girls are interested in confidence and looks. And yes, some girls can be quite stupid at times... But we are allowed to have our own tastes, and "Mr. Right" most likely isn't you to the girls you are interested in, if they haven't been interested in you yet... It's OUR choice to date the guy, not yours. If you don't want to listen to it? Then don't.

Lol, this argument. I've already said this before and i don't think "llAce89ll" is wrong.
I honestly do believe males have it a lot harder than females do but that doesn't necessarily mean that females DON'T have a hard time. I believe in GENERAL, the difficulty for males are higher.
Males most of the time have to do all of the work. Now if we were Lions, females would come to us but instead, we're humans with a conscious lol. Think about it, even in the animal world it's usually males who have to impress anyway.
Having the "Mr. Right" or not doesn't matter, it is irrelevant. The fact of matter is that Males just have it harder. Plain and simple.
I mean, look at my most recent chick i talked to right @AMDarely? ;)
In general, we live in a harsh world lol. I just recently tested out OKCupid and I guess it works, found a bunch of Otakus from where I am.

This is merely just a difference of opinion, and seeing as I will never be male and you will never be female. It's an impasse.
I believe that in general, there is more stress on the guy to take lead, but that doesn't mean there isn't stress on the girl if she tries to. I don't know how many times I've gotten called a slut, whore, feminist (which isn't an insult despite the idiot who tried to), and more. Where as guys can freely pick and chase if they want to.
And I'm talking about him proclaiming to be their "Mr. Right" as if who theirs is, is irrelevant. That is wrong on so many levels.
Hmm... seeing as that wasn't me? I'm not sure! How did that go?
We live in an incredibly harsh world. It means relationships don't work out and may never start, and it's not always going to be easy as pie. Actually, a relationship shouldn't be easy. Period. The end. If it is? Something isn't going right.

There is clearly more stress on Males but what you don't recognize is that Society has taken it upon themselves to make Males be the one to take the initiative. While girls can take the initiative also, it's is a lot more forgiving because of they they are portrayed in this society. Men DREAM to have women come up to them and ask them out and etc but they hardly if ever do that lol. Think about it, it's not a fair comparison but if a girl decided to go out side and flash her tits in public, you'd probably get guys all over you. Or their Vajayjay, whatever.
If a guy did something similar, he'd probably get his ass beat.
As for females being called sluts and etc because of the amount of men they have slept with vs Men who have slept with females are and called badasses, that is just the way the Society has portrayed us. The people who are down to Earth can realize this lol.
Self Proclaiming to be "Mr. Right" or not still doesn't matter and will always be irrelevant to this subject.
Haha, you sure it wasn't you? I'm not picking fun at yah, I'm just saying, was I not put into a harsh position? ;P Anyway, I'm sure you knew the situation, i just wanted to use that as an example.
Relationships being easy or not does not determine if it's going to fail or not o_O, where the hell did you learn that? lol. I've had nothing but issues with my past relationships and they ended exactly the same way they were portrayed...
If you mean ARGUMENTS within a relationship, yeah, a relationship withOUT arguments and debates? Definitely unhealthy, you need something that will pull you apart and come back together to forgive and etc. That I understand o_O.
The one thing people fail to recognize is that at the beginning, everything will always CLICK. It's whether you can survive the "Middle" part of the relationship.

And girls don't DREAM of men asking them out? You can't deny that girls and guys both ask the other out. And you can't deny that there are stress on both sides. It's the fact that Society puts so much stress on it, that girls don't do it. But that doesn't mean there aren't girls who don't. I know quite a few who have asked out the guys they are dating.
You think having men all over you is a good thing? I've been sexually assaulted by men while wearing an over sized t-shirt and sweats. I'm not even going to think about flashing them anything.... And girls would get in trouble for flashing them down under. It's the same as it is for guys. Gross. The reason we can get away with flashing our chest is because it's legal here.
So I should be called a slut because of the one guy that I've had sex with at the age of 19 I might add? Oh wait. I think they are referring to the fact that I've pursued and asked out six guys starting at age 14, and assumed that I've been doing sexual favors/having sex since then.
And you aren't getting the point that this was my opinion, and any guy who told me that they were my "Mr. Right" and I was stupid for dating other guys and ignoring him would get rightly slapped.
My ex and I never fought for the first seven months of our relationship. It was messed up in so many ways. But we ignored it because it was "easy". So I'm talking about not having arguments and debates.
