I've been wanting to go for a few years now, but ultimately end up short on cash. Plus the fact that none of my friends are interested in going to out of state conventions is also a drag =(.

I don't know if I'm going anymore cause everyone backed out of the room and I dont know if my boss gave me off or not

Wow that blows. I hate to hear that man. Perhaps if your boss did give you those days off, maybe try and see if someone is looking for an extra person to stay in their room? Obviously would have to be careful and need to try and get a little bit of a feel of them first but it could be worth it.
