About me:
80s kid who grew up watching old school shows like Transformers and Disney afternoon cartoons (Duck Tails, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Gummi Bears). Discovered anime in 90s thanks to shows like Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors, and Technoman (Tekkaman Blade), Love of anime further cemented thanks to Anime Week on Sci-fi channel (Iria and Tenchi Muyo aired that year). From that moment on I was devoted to anime.
Thanks to internet even easier to watch so many great shows. Crunchyroll, Funimation, and not Daisuki are my goto sources to finding great shows. Also follow a few fansub groups. Before internet, amassed quite a library of anime DVDs. I watch just about anything. As long as the story and the characters are compelling high chance I will watch it. But I also like stuff not so compelling too (I do like some fan service shows xD)
Also big into collecting anime merchandise. Art books, figures, and dollfies were the big bulk of collection. Now been buying more of the light novels being brought over to the states.
