I feel there's only a select few characters in Project M that actually feel like Melee characters. Mario is an example of a good character that feels very Melee-esque. Other characters like Fox feel completely off. It's really silly. I really like Ness in PM and he's got some cool mechanics, one of which being he can jump cancel his down+B, magnet.He can only cancel the looping magnet animation, not the startup though. Basically you'll have to wait 10 frames to jump cancel it, making it really annoying for people who want to use it somewhat like a shine for a few combo strings. It's not the best option, no, but why can't PM just give us the option? There's no need to restrict something that much. Fox and Falco can cancel their shines on frame 4. That's super fast and feels natural. Why can't Ness? It makes him feel restrictive. In Melee I can play any character how I want. There doesn't feel like there is a lot of restrictions. In PM it feels as though everything is predefined with move sets created with combos in mind. Instead of making a attack or a throw be a happy medium that can combo into a plethora of options from fast reaction and skill, the PMDT eliminated the extra options in favor of one that is relatively easy to pull off. Project M is a game about knowledge. Melee is a game about adaptation.

Who do you main in PM? I usually whip out Toon Link or Mario. I would play Fox but he feels like PAL Fox rather than NTSC Fox.

No, not really. It's just me. I care entirely too much at what ppl think of me. And.. it's common for ppl to think that ppl who read manga and watch anime are weird/geeky. At least where I live. So I hide it.

Well I try to stay astray from mainstream anime but I do give it a try and if it's good I watch it and read the manga and light novel
