Do u go to a small private school then cuz I imagine most larger schools would have something alone the lines of one (especially in California)?

Oh... :/ thats not good you should try to reach out more. You'd be surprised by the amount of nice people who share common interest with u are actually near by. I'm a bit of a shut in too, but it's not like don't have friends. Online friends are nice, but but its hard to bond closely over a screen and you gain more social capital gained with face to face relationships.
