Haha that's almost a good problem! Something I'm thinking to do is turn this into a series of short stories so main characters get their own smaller sections to develop. In terms of plot and theme, I've decided to make it more of a slice of life, coming of age story. Romance will come later, although that marks the halfway point! (at least in terms of the period of time the story covers which is around 8-ish years)

Are there any good, recent games that allow you to take a more passive stance to combat? I refrain from saying "pacifist" because I really enjoy my Dragon Age Inquisition challenge where I can't directly attack but can rely on party members and debuffs. Basically, I'd be looking for an RPG that lets me effectively focus on things like speech, charisma, and possibly stealth. As a side note, would you consider things like status effects and debuffs to be banned in a "pacifist" run of any particular game?
