Thank you. Very close. Both she and my grandmother on my mom's side were very close to me and now they're both gone. I'm just glad that they're not suffering anymore.

Ouch, sorry to hear! I lost my grandma around this time last year so this year is a little quieter! Was going to do something for my dad to make it better but he decided to go away so Im stuck on my own... I agree with you though about looking forward to next year, I desperately need a new start! I got your message on deviantart btw, quite lucky cos I dont go on there as much as I used to, its a little painful, should make a new account...

That sucks, I know what its like to move away from good friends. You know, If your looking to meet some people with similar interests there are several otaku-related events in the Denver area every year. The new years eve costume ball is coming up pretty soon, I haven't found anyone to go with me yet but it looks like fun. Yeah, 3 hours would have been doable but 5+ sounded like a waste of a full day of the con. Still, Vic is my all-time favorite engdub voice actor. Speaking of the Japanese relief effort something like 35K was raised at the NDK this year. It was cool seeing everyone come together in support.
