when the night falls and the world is asleep, that is when she cries. she cries because she feels alone. she cries because the pain is too much to handle. she goes through her day smiling and laughing. only to cry at night. she tells other the same lie "yes i'm okay" because she's afraid of telling the truth. because she is afraid others will look down on her for showing emotion other than the norm. "it is the worst feeling to have. when you feel alone though you have friends" she tries to tell herself "i'm important. i have friends that tell me i'm important" but now she believes there is no more reason to tell herself that. she is one that doesn't ask for much. yet to others they think she's asking for the universe. it's easier for one to ignore another than it is to accept them. they all believes she does this for attention "look at me. pay attention to me. i'm sad and need attention. look at me" "suck it up and get on with life" "nobody gives a fuck. stop being stupid and such a drama queen" "jeez you're so pathetic" the taunts continue and the knifes twists deeper "what is it that i'm doing wrong?" "am i trying too hard?" "am i just too different to fit in?" she reaches out only to grasp air. she wants to join in only to be left behind. she feels like giving up. she feels like she's a disappoint and a burden. she wants to stay quiet, never to speak again. because when she speaks they turn away. when night falls and the world is asleep, that is when she cries.

LIFE is cruel, fickle and selfish.
