Americans have a lot of funny phrases. The curse of the baby face lol Even when I'm in a bad mood people aren't intimidated! There is! You'll have to go and try your hand at teaching. You going to be on later? I agreed to go watch Ghost Hunt with one of my friends earlier, so I must be off. I'll probably be on about midnight, wouldn't want to turn into a pumpkin.

I've never heard that phrase before. I have quite a soft face, I look 'nice' apparently hahahaaaaa. It depends on the kids, some kids aren't phased at all. Some kids may think 'funny' or 'weird' instead of 'scary'.

I think you'd get their attention, they look at all foreign people. I think ginger hair is rarer (though mine is mousy brown/blonde) I had students who didn't notice my eye colour, they thought it was brown until I asked them and they had to check. They thought my blue eyes were scary, these were 14/15 year old teens lol

That sucks! You really must go! Well worth a visit. My university did exchanges with Chinese students, I remember one of my friends running up to me one day and exclaiming 'I've lost a Chinese person! A whole Chinese person!' She did find him eventually.
