Lets see... Well I started getting into anime when i was around 10 or so. Like most kids my age the gateway drug was none other than Dragonball. Then my addiction spread like crazy when I found a Shonen Jump in my local grocery store. From then on there was no going back and I'm a happier man for it.
But, as I am an immigrant from Ireland, my love of this "strange" foreign literature/animation was looked down upon by my parents. This has left me a bit gun shy about bringing up my anime infatuation because of a deep seated shame.
That's in the past now. I'm on here to find a fellow female anime lover to talk about and enjoy everything that I've had no outlet to talk about until now.
I know that I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to the larger anime scene so please enlighten me and show me what I'm missing.
