that's why i wanna be a game designer :D I understand it will be harder to find the right job, I've gone through it time and time again like I said. conforming to fit in, and it just leaves me miserable at the end of the day. I guess I've gotten to the point where I literally don't care anymore because life is too short to go around faking who you are and what you want to be, just for the sake of some money, or pleasing others' expectations of you. who knows how much time we're given. why not live the way you dream of living until that time? and if i fail trying, at least I can never look back and say "what if" ya know?

in my experience it's the same everywhere. sure, there might be more kids our age doing their own thing, but professional/business ethics really don't change. I've lived in Seattle, San Diego, Outside San Francisco, In Palm Springs area, as well as the midwest back and forth, up and down, and I really don't think it matters at the end of the day. It's hard to find jobs when you're an anime haired weirdo. I have cut my hair so many times out of frustration, to try to make something happen for myself, find a job and make money again, sometimes it's worked, other times not, and at the end of the day the older I get the more i realize that unless you're staying true to yourself, you won't be happy. at least that's how I see it.
