I'm glad you liked them! I don't know what it is, but there is something about the guitar solo in Crowns that makes me feel so happy and energetic every time I hear it. At least there will eventually be a break and then you can watch more anime than you are right now for a little while! That's what I tell myself at least. xD I wish I could channel my emotions into composition like that. I can sit down and just play and play, but when I start trying to write things down I lose most of the inspiration that was fueled by emotion. You must create some pretty emotionally charged pieces though. I really liked both Is This a Zombie and The Devil is a Part-Timer because they had many action sequences and yet they managed to keep humor injected into the entire story.

I hope I'm not building them up too much for you! My favorite two songs by them are Crowns and Pattern in Pain although I really enjoy most of the songs from their first album. Fair warning though- if you don't like more having more screams than clean vocals in a song, they probably won't quite be up your alley. Beck does sound interesting. I'll be adding that to my ever-growing watch list. xD I enjoy talking to you too! You sell yourself short. You make the conscious choice to act the way you do and you do seem like a good person because of it. I know what you mean. Music has been with me through everything from the darkest times to the best times. My emotions are now pretty strongly connected to the music I listen to. Slice of life comedies are definitely an interesting genre. Have you seen Watamote? It was hard for me to get through it because, while obviously not that extreme, I used to be incredibly shy towards anyone. I thought is was hilarious, it just would remind me of things I've done in the past. I'm not sure if I can name a favorite genre because it really depends on the anime itself. I do like having at least some action in the anime though.

Eden of the East ... longer list but its really hard to choose and im kinda obsessed.
