yeah, it's a good thing I love it so much. Thank you! I don't know if I'm that talented though. xD Yay! If the live stream does happen I'd love for so many people to watch it. We're playing some pretty cool pieces. I love Demon Hunter and Skillet! I think Red is pretty great too. I listen to Toby Mac occasionally, but not nearly as much as the others I listed. Have you heard of Phinehas? They play Christian metal, but there music is very melodic, in my opinion. My favorite Matt Redman song is 10,000 Reasons. I know what you mean about tracking all of the music. I actually haven't even heard of Beck.

That's similar to what I did! I completely skipped my freshman year of college which was wonderful. Haha, I haven't gotten to the point of losing sleep yet, but I'm constantly on the brink of being on top of things and overwhelmed. You sound incredibly busy though. Bicycling around the neighborhood sounds so great. Free time for productivity is nice. Yes, I'll be playing at all of them: guest playing in a jazz band, parade, orchestra, steel drum ensemble, percussion concert, and band concert all withing about a month. I think there is another one that I'm forgetting, but oh well. And thank you! The percussion concert might be available to livestream so if you really wanted to watch, that is a possibility.
Yes! In the genre, I mostly listen to rock and metal, but I love Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Matt Redman, Jeremy Camp, and various hymns. Also several individual songs by different artists. I'm just not really into anything produced by the Gaithers or that type of genre. I also like a few of the Newsboys' songs. What about you?

Yay! My life has been pretty good. I have quite a few musical functions to play at for the next month so that should be fun. And there is soooo much music to learn. I'm really excited for summer because then I should get to work with kids in a summer track program. I'm kinda bad at just talking about myself, so what do you want to know? :P

The odd part is, A is my favorite key, but I never play in it while playing improv. I totally agree though, the improv is why they're great! Although there are a few other reasons. xD A new show every week?! In high school, the band I was in played one show for the entire season. That's so crazy, but I guess you don't get bored. I don't see how you can memorize the music that fast though. xD I wish I could have seen those two shows! I love the Walking Dead so much and Final Fantasy's music is very cool. I can definitely see how it can be fun though, although I assume it keeps you busy. I'd love to see one of your animations someday!

That sounds really cool. I haven't really tried combining jazz with another genre, but it is definitely an interesting idea. I like to just sit down at a piano and improvise. I feel freer that way and if I play something I don't like, then I can just go on and move past it. I don't have the patience to pay attention to what I play and then write it down though. For some odd reason I usually gravitate towards starting in Cm. It isn't really even a conscious decision, that's just where my hands seem to naturally go until I start throwing other types of chords in. I wish we still had a marching band, we used to around 20 years ago. So how is college marching band? Even if you're just getting started, it's awesome that you're doing animations. ^.^
