Oh then I own a couple of those my personal interest in myth took me to the books "the red pyramid" 2 teenaged mc's and the book "his dark materials trilogy" which had a fantastic little fantasy world pretty unique with a young girl as mc. Hmm I don't own books of shakespeare or poe but I've read all their stories and saw one play and the movie macbeth. Personally I loved it :p The books I told you are highschool lvl books in south america for both english and spanish. The old versions are near the english lvl of moby dick ... which is an awesome story my old college library had it. According to librarian only english majors are the ones who read the book :/ I don't get why its an awesome story. As for chick lit ... maybe I've read it and never realized it, I'll see its description later and maybe I've got something with it heh maybe not. Let me see fav wars, medieval wars 100 years of war or the war of the roses if you wish. The crusades, more modern ww1-2, the korean war north vs south, and others but they lose interest when some just sound like propaganda for the winning countries military. Future house is four walls and just books o.o well I hope it never rains :p Why.not go even more hardcore? Just 4 shelves as walls xD

I would imagine it might be a little bit of both, becoming used to them/not liking the idea of contacts and glasses becoming more commonplace/less of a stigma of sorts. In a way they sort of do seem to be going that way. They even have an anime all about glasses now. Now that would be quite the interesting anime! I'd love to see that kind of an anime done. I imagine the budget for such a project would have to be large and the scheduling for the project proportionally so as well. That way it would better guarantee that it would receive the necessary level of hard work to make sure it shines, rather than falls on its face. I wonder which genre would be the best to start such a project with? I'm thinking either action or romcom....probably romcom because the action series can go on at quite the length and a project of such nature would be better suited for a shorter length for its first go round for safety reasons I imagine. That sounds like a good definition...and one that I kind of fit into too xD I just remembered playing DMC4 and at the end, during the credits you have to try and protect the main female lead (also romantic interest) from being touched (even once) by numerous enemies and then you get an extra scene if you do. I remember playing during the credits, fighting my hardest to protect her, partially for the extra's but also feeling that I COULDN'T allow any harm to come to her. Well thankfully I'm surrounded by books, movies, games, and ect. that can supply me with that because I'm probably not going to get any of that sort of thing IRL anytime soon lol. Yeah if you can't get to play the game before buying then getting to see the game be played is usually the next best thing. Also I'm sort of disappointed that having real "cheats" in games seems to be a thing of the past now :(

Huh, well at least that's a good thing. Would be nice if my eyesight became "slightly better" too haha. Want to feel better about that? If that makes you feel old, how about this? Once I was looking for my glasses for about ten minutes until I realized....why can I see so clearly?......I was wearing them the whole time......I'm too young for those moments and that was a few years ago xD Sounds like we both ended up with glasses around the same age/time. I was a little excited about getting glasses at first, I thought they might be cool to wear or something like that I think. There just doesn't seem to be any limit to the different worlds that books can take you too. Be it alternate history, back in time, a supposed future, a fairy tale or even a supernatural or syfi-like world! I like the sound of that haha. I've found that anime can also share that feeling of escaping to another world. Some shows more than others though. Games and stories that have more of a choosing element to them (for me, book-wise it was more limited to certain Goosebumps books) can take the feeling even further because it feels more like you actually get to choose your path and create the story based on your decisions. FFX and X-2 had some of those elements to them though they were very limited and very minor in size and depth. I've wondered for awhile if I was a hopeless romantic type but I've sort of been too lazy to look up any definition of it to be honest ^ ^; To be honest, the romantic part of me was the biggest factor in my wanting to start the 2nd KH game as soon as possible. After seeing Sora and Kairi become separated at the end like that, after JUST having found each other again. I just couldn't let that stand haha. I've even been stuck on a romcom genre marathon of anime lately where that's more or less the only kind of anime that really appeals to me right now haha. Though partly because most of what's available to me (without going on streaming sites) is subbed only and some dubbed would be nice again, at least for a change of pace but if I could find a good romcom......haha. I was SO happy to finally find out about whether Hinata ends up with Naruto or not *won't say anything more in case you haven't heard/care about Naruto at all*. I don't have many friends around where I live (grew up in military family so we moved around a lot and when we moved here, again, I only had 2 years of school left and I didn't really make any close friends there so...) so I sadly don't really have any to borrow games from nor do we really have the same systems. I read reviews sometimes to find out some initial stuff to see if I'm interested in the game. Sometimes in the reviews they'll mention certain mechanics that I might not care for or a certain plot element that I would regret finding out after getting the game so I've found them helpful sometimes, of course always remembering to read in-between the lines for the "unbiased" facts of the game, such as "lots of grinding required", "certain leveling up mechanic" or "playing under a certain religious setting/tone". Of course if I can download a free demo than that's almost always the best way to go. I've been pretty lucky when it comes to buying games. I have a TON of games across numerous systems *handheld included* and I can easily count on one hand the times I've been disappointed/regretted buying (myself, not gifted) a game. But as you said yourself, it's easier when one might be a little more open minded or even easy going about different types of games than most.

Young adult ... ?? Is that an actual genre? Classics ... hmm don quijote? The three musketeers? 10000 leagues under the sea? Or like tolkien and such. My favorite hands down is sci fi, followed by military realistic fiction and history. Education, self help, inspirational kind of fall together although mythology and philosophy and psychology top the 3 subcategories on those. As for chick lit. I'm sry but I don't think I have touched the stuff. And poetry was in english class in high school the last time I grabbed that ... My fav was death poems from ww2 ... what can I say I embrace the darkness of life and death. fortunately for you, you live (figuratively) in a library ... you have access to lots of reading materials and you never pay late fees.
